Trivia. Did you know that Jimmy was in the Yardbirds, a band that also featured at various times during it's existence greats like Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck?

Yes, that's awesome. Jeff Beck was incredible back in those days, one of my favorites.

It's so interesting to learn the early bands, breakups, and intermingling of a lot of the musicians of that era. Crosby, Stills, etc., have a history like that too...also mingling with British bands via Nash.

Trivia on this drawing...I did it at work on 3rd shift, working in a wing of a building all by myself, while waiting for a semiconductor wafer to run thought its 8-hour test. Took me about that long to do the drawing. :-)

I have no artistic talent in the areas of drawing, sketching, or painting. Not sure what that would feel like. More trivia you might get a kick out of. My wife's grandfather, Graves Gladney, was an artist. Earned his bread and butter painting covers for adventure and SF magazines (pulps) in the 30's and 40's. Here's a link to some of his stuff (scroll down to Gladney obviously) More trivia, on the March 1939 Astounding cover, Gladney has a self portrait of himself at the bottom, holding a little girl.... my wife's mom when she was little.

Say, that doesn't look ANYTHING like the old codger I saw playing at the Olympics closing ceremony.... ;~)

Heheheh, we saw that too! X-D Not a very good sound system for the TV transmission, eh? You could hardly hear him.

We were also waiting for Dr. Who's callbox to float down as well, after that episode with the 2012 Olympics a couple weeks ago!
