I love the art work! Did you do these, Capcom? If so, you are extremely gifted as they are simply gorgeous. I especially love the Robin Hood one, though they are all wonderfully drawn.

Thanks Cheryl! Yes, I drew these, but they are a "few" years old. I couldn't fit any of my new ones in the tiny scanner that I have! I hope to get some new ones up by the end of the year.

The Robin Hood drawing is from a Showtime series called "Robin of Sherwood", in the mid/late 1980s. It has finally come out on DVD and I recommend it. It's not a blockbuster type action series with over-the top-special effects, like Hercule/Zena was. It's very natural, pretty historical, and English. And MUCH better than the movie with Costner was that came out after the series got popular.

I can't wait to see the new ones! I'll have to check out the Robin Hood series. I liked the movie but I was a teenager when it came out in the theaters and easily pleased, lol. I showed my husband your work and he loves the Star Wars drawings, he wanted me to tell you that. :) Is this a hobby of yours or do you sell them? I'm poor so I probably couldn't afford them but I was just curious.

Wow, thank your husband for me, that is so nice! I'll try to put up some more Star Wars drawings if I can scan them without scrunching them up in the tiny scanner.

Well, it's mostly been a hobby for my own enjoyment all my life, but I have sold some craftier things, and at one time I was doing logo and t-shirt designs for local musicians in the Hudson Valley. One of my drawings actually got on an album cover! It was on the back of the first album of Richie Scarlet -- mostly a local, but he plays with Ace Freely, Leslie West of Mountain, and other old-timer rockers in the NY area. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of artistic things again since I retired, and hope that even God will use me for something purposeful. :-)

That is so cool about the album cover! (I am a Kiss fan, Ace rocks!) I've never heard of the band but that is just awesome! I like to draw though I am untrained and it shows. But it is a love of mine and always has been. You should persue art if that is your love. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, you have an amazing talent! I am sure God will use your talent. He always finds ways of doing that when we least expect it, in unexpected ways. I am a firm believer of that! Well, you have two huge fans in me and my husband and he will be so excited when I tell him that you are going to try to post more Star Wars pictures. (I know what a pain scanners are. Mine has been on the fritz for almost a year now. I'll get a new one one day... maybe for Christmas!)

Thanks Cheryl and PAA!! I'm truly honored that you like my work. :-) I have very little formal training unfortunately, myself Cheryl. Just keep at it, and what's most important is that what you see with your eyes gets transferred down through your arm and out of your hand. No matter what style you work in.

There are a couple good books for that, one is (I think) 'Drawing What You See', and 'Drawing With The Left (or right?) Side Of Your Brain'.
